Near Carcassonne, our two guest houses, “Pin d’alep” and “Thyma”, are located in the middle of a majestic wilderness interspersed with organic farms.  From their terraces you’ll enjoy a unique panorama of three great mountain ranges, the Corbières, the Cabardès and the Montagne Noire with their surrounding pine forests, vineyards and meadows.

Nearby, the hamlet of Pommayrac offers horse or pony riding, a charming hostel and the opportunity to discover the world of bee-keeping and honey testing.
The owners of the guest houses, Laurence and Denis are apiculturists, beekeepers, and will be happy to share their activities with you.
From here you can explore the entire area by foot or on mountain bikes, using excellent marked hiking trails which extend in all directions.
At the Domain Sainte Marie des Pains nearby you can taste their organic wine, produced on the property.
You can also enjoy swimming in the village swimming pool which has two large basins. It is only 5 minutes away and entrance is free. It also offers swimming lessons.
There is a grocery with fresh bread and a butchers shop, open daily.
These two guesthouses are very comfortable (3 stars). They both have living rooms with TV and DVD, fully equipped kitchens with fridge, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob and washing machine, and terraces, one of them covered, with a unique views.
On the ground floor there is a double room with a 160cm bed with attached shower. On the first floor there is a room with 90cm bunk beds or twin beds, with attached shower.
